Best Kitchen Gadget to Invest In: Meat Thermometer

One of the best kitchen gadgets I have ever purchased is my Meat Thermometer.  I’ve only had it for a couple months now, but before that I was the QUEEN of either severely undercooking or completely overcooking my meat (which is not a good thing if you have a husband that loves good meat!)

I decided to Bed Bath and Beyond one day and purchase myself a meat thermometer. There are many different kinds of meat thermometers out there…some simple and some complicated, some cheap and some expensive.  I decided to buy the Polder® Safe-Serve™ Instant Read Thermometer with Presets.  It was inexpensive at $14.99 and very easy to use!

It lets you pick what kind of meat you are cooking from the LCD screen and the temperatures that the particular kind of meat should be cooked to are pre-set in the thermometer!  You can even pick how you want beef cooked at rare, medium, etc.  All you need to do is insert your thermometer into your meat and once it hits the recommended temperature it will start to beep!  It completely takes the guesswork out your meat cooking and helps make the perfect meal!  I highly recommend this thermometer if you do not own one already!
