“Oh the weather outside is frightful, so grilling in the cold is not delightful….
So when the weather starts to turn to cold, grill inside, grill inside, grill inside!!!!!”

(My cooking version of the Christmas Favorite, “Let it Snow”)

So yes, it finally got cold this year….and who wants to stand outside in the freezing cold grilling up dinner.  You don’t have to!  Thanks to my cousin Kevin, who is also a blog follower, we now have a grill pan.  He got it for us as a wedding gift, and we have used it so many times already!  It is perfect for cooking up a great meal and you still get those grill marks on your steak!!

My grill pan is a Calphalon Contemporary Non-Stick 11″ Grill Pan and I love it!!  My trick is that I turn up the heat on the stove to high to start off.  I sear the steak (or whatever meat I am cooking) on high for a minute or two one each side and then turn the heat down to medium to continue cooking.  I then always use my meat thermometer to check out the meat as it’s cooking and pull it off the stove when it gets to the desired temperature.

YUM! Enjoy your grilling indoors!!!

xoxo,
BA
