A few years ago, my sister and I used to go to T.G.I. Friday’s religiously to order one of their appetizers: quesadillas drizzled with a balsamic glaze. We would have a day of shopping at the King of Prussia Mall and then stop at the restaurant right there before going home.
- 1 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- Pour your balsamic vinegar into a small pan or pot on the stove.
- Add in the brown sugar.
- Turn your stove up to high and bring to a boil. Once it comes to a boil, turn the heat down to low. Simmer on low for about 35 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- You will notice the mixture become a thicker, syrupy texture.
