The Best of Food Marriage!

When my husband and I went out to dinner the other week to celebrate one year of FoodMarriage.com, we reminisced about the past year.  Our mouths watered in remembrance of the best food we have eaten.  And we laughed at the MANY mishaps in the kitchen.  It was fun to see that we had both challenged ourselves with so many new recipes and flavors!  And looking back, we realized that we do actually eat healthy when we put our minds to it (aside from brownies and cookies in moderation!!)

We came up with a list a TOP 6 LIST of all of our favorite things. (Top 5 sounded better, but we couldn’t cut our list down!! And we have some ties where we couldn’t decide between our favorites!)

1. Best Game Day Recipe: Fried Ravioli
2. Best Lunch: Ham & Cheese Pretzel Melt
3. Best Dinner: Tie between my Beef Stew and Chunky Chicken Crock Pot Soup
4. Best Dessert: Tie between Fudge Truffle Cheesecake &
Brownie Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Chips
5. Best Presentation: Edamame Puree in Cherry Tomatoes
6. Overall Most Impressive:
Discovering Cake Pops and making them for several occasions… Springtime Cake Pops, Bridal Shower Cake Pops, and my favorite accomplishment Wedding Cake Pops!
What were your favorites!?!?

ONE Year Ago: How to Cook Acorn Squash
