The cookie exchange I hosted last night was a huge success! My friends and I had a great time getting together, sharing our cookies and recipes, listening to Christmas music, and of course enjoying each others company by the fire on a cold December night! At the end of the evening, we each ended up with an amazing melange of cookies!

We started the night out with some beer and wine and each displayed our cookies on the table.

My contribution to the cookie extravaganza included Crescent Cookies, Spritz Cookies, good old fashioned Chocolate Chip Cookies, and White Chocolate Chip Cookies. My friend Joelle made some fabulous Snickerdoodles and my friend Nicole made delicious Oatmeal Cranberry White Chocolate Chunk Cookies. My friend Jessica went with a peanut butter theme and made a couple different kinds of cookies: Peanut Butter Middles & Peanut Butter Temptations. And finally, my friend Allison surprised us all with an ice cream theme! She made Orange Creamsicle cookies and Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies!
We then indulged in some fun cocktails and tried out a couple new drink recipes: Chocolate Chip Martinis and Mint Milano Cookie Cocktails! Stay tuned all next week…starting on Monday, each day on FoodMarriage.com will feature a different recipe from the Cookie Exchange! Happy Holidays!!
